To do my research i first looked at what CAPCOM has done in the past and what they have achieved in there time being game makers.
First i looked at a time line all about CAPCOM http
://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/company/history.html
This is the websight i used to helped me have a better understanding about them as a company.
After looking at CAPCOM i decided to ask people a question."I have to come up with a creature for Collage. I will produce
a profile for the creature, followed by a hand-drawn design pack which will be
developed into a 3D model. What kind of creature would be best?". I put this on CAPCOM'S web-sight in one of the forums and on there Facebook page. When people eventually replied most of them were telling me to come up with something new as a result of this i decided to start mixing animals to do this I gathered images of the web.
The images are of lots of different mythical creatures as i was going to make my own up but i decided after i had drawn a few to go with mixing real animals to gather and making wired creatures.

Evaluation
To start i have never had a big project like this before where i have had full control over it. At first i was very clear on what i wanted to do witch was make cross bred animals and make a 3D model of the one i thought was best. To start this i stared researching about CAPCOM and getting mood pictures off of the internet to make mood boards out of. While i was doing this i got carried away by making them and getting the perfect pictures for me to work with.
After finely getting the wright pictures i started to draw my odd animals some better than others. Making lots of very different designs form birds to frogs, bears to incest. As time passed i was not going to be able to make one of my creatures in to a clay model mainly because i should of finished my research and drawings earlier.
To conclude i think that i should have worked faster and a little bit harder and not leave things to the last minute. On the other hand i think that my drawings were up to scratch and turned out looking good as i said before some better than others.
Focus Group Feedback
I showed my work to some people in my class to see what they thought and if i could change it in anyway and hey gave me some honest feedback.
-That i should try to make some of my creatures look more realistic
-That the creatures that i came up with were very original but others were not
The people who gave me this feedback although they are friends they are very critical of my work and tell me if it is bad.
Production
07.02.14
Week one decided I
was going to make DLC for Capcom’s game Dragons Dogma and this is my FMP
I made an image
board that that pictures of mythical creatures this had dragons, golem’s rocks
and others in it.
14.02.14
Started looking at
horses because I wanted to make a Pegasus as my final peace.
I looked at and
artist called Sally Mathews and she made sculptures of animals using metal,
mud, leaves and other objects from the woods.
Started drawing
horses my first horse was a very bad drawing then after drawing a few they didn't get much better so I decided to stop. To
do this I used pencils and paper using shading and lines to draw the horses.21.02.14
Went on Capcom’s website and looked at the forms. Then asked the community what kind of creature I should do for my FMP
After a couple of
days I didn’t get any replies so I when on their Facebook and asked there and
got some replays saying that I should come up with something new and that has
never been done before
I decided to look up
more about what Capcom had done and learn a bit more about them as a company
and if they did anything ells other than games.
At first I decided
to go with my imagination and just draw something that was alien like and
pretty monstrous it had a beak two legs a short body and a long tail with a
pincer at the end of it but unfortunately don’t think it went to well of I
decided to do something ells
I stared gathering
more images of different types of animals so that I could come up with my own
creature. Getting pictures of birds, lizards, monkeys, dogs and others.
I decided to make
a different type of gryphon unlike the generic eagle and lion combo I decided
on a bush baby and an owl to draw this I used pencil and paper using shading to
try and make it look more life like it had he head and wings of an owl also its
legs and to make it a gryphon it had to have the back end of a bush baby. I
drew the front and two side views of it one was of it standing normally and the
other of it was stood on its back legs looking proud of its self.
I drew another
gryphon again it was with an owl because I like them but this time it was with
a fox it is the same as the other but its back half is different as it was with
a fox instead of a bus baby. I made the fox part with pencil and tried to make
it a bushy as possible because they have bushy tales to do this I made small
quick strokes with my pencil to make the tale look like it was very fluffy.
28.02.14
I
prepared for my interview by sorting out what I would say an how I would
present my idea I didn't think that it went to well because I was nervous in
front in the camera.
07.03.14
I decided to mix a snake with an ostrich making he snake part the head and the neck of the animal and the body and legs of an ostrich it also has a pointed beak at the end. I decided to make this my end product and drew more pictures of this
Ideas Generation
So at first i started looking at horses because i was going to make a unicorn or a Pegasus but decided not to do that as my horse drawings were not up to my standers. After horribly failing at this i decided to start drawing lions as i was going to go for some type of manticore now i liked the drawings that i did but i decided not to do that. After drawing different animal crossbreeds i decided upon making crossbreeds of the animals you see above this paragraph.
This was my first idea it is of a venomous monster that mostly hunts in water i was pleased with it but didnt want o make it my finale peace.
